Principal solicitor
James Drewett is the principal solicitor of DAD Legal and has practised in criminal defence for more than 11 years. He represents clients across NSW in the Local, District and Supreme Courts, from traffic and summary offences to serious indictable matters.
His work includes bail applications, defended hearings, sentencing and appeals. James takes the time to understand what is at stake for each client, gives clear advice about the available options and prepares each case with care. Clients deal directly with the solicitor responsible for their matter.
James regularly appears in courts across Sydney and South Western Sydney, including Liverpool, Fairfield, Parramatta and Campbelltown. His approach combines careful consideration of the evidence with practical advice, helping clients understand the court process and make informed decisions about their defence.
